This course is for anyone who wants to learn more about birth trauma - What is birth trauma? Why is it so prevalent? What are its impacts? - and is especially designed for those who work with birthing people, or those who wish to work in a birth trauma support role. This is a pre-requisite course for the Healing Birth Practitioner Training programme.

The first Understanding Birth Trauma Basics course was held live (via Zoom) in May 2021, with more than 130 registrations. Feedback from those who did the course was overwhelmingly positive.
